The title may be sappy but all of you would be happy to know that the title is where the sap stops. I was hoping to load some low quality smoochie-in-love photos of Adrian and me from my picture phone to my computer to my blog. But, the technology chain was unfortunately broken which means that you'll just have to imagine cute pictures of Adrian and me. :) We also forgot our normal cameras which was silly. Doh!
Adrian and I had such a good time together. It was really nice to have him here and I skipped so much school that we had tons of time to hang out. Wait, did I just say that? Sidenote: I had a test on Monday and I don't think I will be kicked out of the program yet so it should be ok.
Anyway, Adrian and I had a couple of days in Berlin and a long weekend in Prague. Our time in Berlin was spent going to parks; exploring the city; hanging out with a cousin of his that lives here; and eating lots and lots of chocolate, ice cream, and super healthful street food. :) It was glorious. By the end of Adrian's time here, he knew the city better than I did. All of you who know me well know that a good sense of direction is not a gift of mine. The navigation duties where thenceforth passed on.
Prague was also great. One of my friends in the program, Carrie, and her husband, Mathias, manage a hostel in Prague so we had a beautiful place to stay. I think calling the Czech Inn a hostel really doesn't do it justice. Actually just check out this website because this place was super cool. http://www.czech-inn.cz/ Adrian and I spent most of our time in Prague hanging out with my great uncle and aunt Pat and Barbara Beckley. They are living in the city of Opava which is quite a distance away from Prague. They made the trek just to see us. It is so great to see people you know abroad and even better when it's family. Pat and Barbara showed us the sights and told us about Czech culture. They also fed us, which of course is really appreciated.
Adrian and I also spent some quality time with Carrie and Mathias. On Saturday night we went to the craziest club I have ever been too. This place was incredible. I think the best way to describe it is it's like if a space craft crashed and then you made it into a club. There was all these old control panels, modern art made out of old machine parts, and chairs pulled out of old aircrafts. Oh and of course all of it was blinking and lighting up. It was nuts. We danced to some reggae/regeton mix which of course is a crowd pleaser. Good times.
I think our favorite day was the day we took the train home from Prague and stopped in Dresden. It was Monday, May 1st which is a public holiday. I think the holiday has to do something with celebrating freedom of speech or something. The important information is that there were beer gardens, street venders, and tons of people just hanging out. Not to mention, Dresden is a beautiful city. We had a lot of quality time to just kind of hang out.
So, I apologize for the lack of kissyface pictures. But, I posted some pretty sweet pictures from Geneva. Hopefully that can tide all of you over until maybe I get some pictures from my uncle Pat. Please do post comments because I would like to know what you think.

I am glad that you got to see Poland, is there any remnants of the ghetto wall? Although I am sure there is more to poland than the war. Try to make it to Edinburgh in the summer for the fest if you can, had the time of my life there.
