Paige's Return to Deutschland!

Hallo from Berlin! This blog is a place for friends and family to get occasional snip-its on Biggs' life in Germany and me to assuage my guilt for living so far away from loved ones. Expect bad syntax and so-so sentence structure. There is no shame in just scrolling for little Biggs' photos for a "cute fix" without the risk of getting sucked into social media.

Crazy Eights

Happy 2012! In classic Paige style, I've been having too much fun to blog. To catch everyone up to speed, I'm highlighting the top eight most awesome life happenings since October - in no particular order. 1. Christmas with my Boys
Seattle still feels like home over the holidays.

2. Vacation with my Girls

Palm Springs might never be the same. Time at the spa, hiking through Joshua Tree, lounging by the pool, and driving past Snoop at Cochella. (One of those things didn't actually happen.) Somehow I only have a picture of us with Kirsten's grandma. I'll work on that. ;)

3. Free Trip to Anguilla, British Virgin Islands

Paul got so good at snorkeling that he dove deep enough to break his underwater camera. So worth it.
View from the Spa, yup that was a stop on our trip.
Notice the pink pashmina scarf - yup Jive gives the ladies some pretty awesome swag.
You can take us out of Portland but we'll find bikes - even if we have to ride on the wrong side of the road. Paul pours his blood, sweat, and tears into Jive software. Me, well, I just showed up for a week to keep him company. I am a fan of dating someone with connections to corporate sales teams. I recommend it to all my single ladies.

4. Oaxaca, Mexico

Our chariot, Tina, awaited us at the airport.
Jorge got us started on the boogie boarding.
Nap + Beach = Vacation
Oaxaca City!
Hooves are an acquired taste.
As are grasshoppers.
A bit of Mexican culture; Mont Alban is a must.
Mama Dorantes! The best hostess ever!
If you want to make friends in Mexico City go to the posh neighborhood - La Condesa, order Pulque - fermented agave, and request 'Careless Whisper' for Karaoke. Works every time. Just when I thought I couldn't love Mexico any more, along came Oaxaca. The food, the beach, the Dorantes family. This place is paradise. If you want to go, I can point you towards a man who'll rent you this baby:

5. Utah with the Suriya Family

Attention all new parents. If your child looks like this:
I will travel anywhere with you. The Suriya family invited me to be a third set of hands on a family trip to Utah. Super fun sledding, awesome skiing, and dew tour spectating to boot.

6. Thanksgiving with the whole Beckley Family

I love, and miss...sniff, Oliver Beckley so much. Four whole days with him, and my bros and parents, were so nice.

7. Meet the Grandparents

Paul passed the rigorous Grandpa and Grandma Beckley test. Oh please, we showed up at their door in AZ and they were all hugs and cookies. They like him so much he made it into their Christmas letter.

8. Boulder and Breckenridge

First things first, I really like Paul's college buddies. They are smart, fun, and nice to me. The fact that they live in super fun places like Boulder is icing on the cake. Skiing in good snow in 70 degree weather; I'm a fan.
Ok the list was supposed to stop there but BAM:
Connor is a Law School Graduate! Congrats Bro! Also, no post would be complete without photos of Oliver.
Oliver is still the cutest man alive.
Quack!
